The Elvis Cookbook

Much of the food he ate was very unhealthy with lots of high fat, high calorie meals such as burgers and his legendary favourite fried peanut butter and banana sandwich. He liked the Fool's Gold Loaf, an extravagant and expensive sandwich made in Denver and consisting of a whole loaf of bread containing lots of peanut butter, grape jelly and bacon; Elvis famously flew to Denver in his private jet to order 22 of these sandwiches!
Elvis loved homemade comfort foods and traditional southern dishes such as collard greens, creamed potatoes, peas potato and cheese soup, and roast beef. He also loved cakes and puddings: banana pudding was a favourite.
